Meet William
Meet William your hands on health and safety consultant, trainer and mentor. William has over 30 years in health and safety management and is more than able to support you with your health and safety responsibilities.

William has experience in several industry sectors including construction, warehousing and retail. He is about creating a robust health and safety culture to ensure your business is beyond compliance and your team is empowered to make the workplace a healthier and safer environment.

William firmly believes that although the health and safety statistics are unacceptable he is of the opinion that all of them are preventable. There is always at least one opportunity within the sequence of events to prevent it.

Away from health and safety William is a volunteer within his local community to deliver health and safety policies and procedures to his local community centre. Most of the rest of the time he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

CONSULTANCY

A selection of services we provide. Risk Assessments: Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and evaluating the risks associated with them. This includes creating detailed reports and recommending control measures to mitigate those risks. Safety Audits: Conducting comprehensive reviews of a company’s health and safety practices, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards. Policy Development: Assisting in the creation and implementation of health and safety policies, ensuring that they align with legal requirements and industry best practices. Incident Investigation: Investigating workplace accidents or near misses to determine the root cause and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

TRAINING

Health and Safety Training including: Fire Safety Training: Educating workers on fire prevention, emergency evacuation procedures, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. Manual Handling Training: Instructing employees on safe lifting techniques and the proper use of lifting equipment to prevent injuries related to manual handling tasks. Workplace Hazard Awareness: Training employees to recognise and respond to common workplace hazards, such as slips, trips, falls, and electrical risks. Construction Safety Training: Providing industry-specific training on construction site safety, including working at heights, ladder safety, and the use of power tools etc.
